How to download files from fileserve.com premium with wget

First we need check if we have “Direct Download” option checked in:

Edit account / Advanced Features

Now we need to get a cookie, im using curl for that:

curl --cookie-jar cookies.txt --data "loginUserName=login" --data "loginUserPassword=password" --data "autoLogin=checked" --data "loginFormSubmit=Login" http://www.fileserve.com/login.php

where:

login is your login name, and password is you password for fileserve.com

next we need to create our list with links to download. Use pico, vi or another favorite editor.

Now the final part:

wget -c --load-cookies /home/napi/cookies.txt -i /home/napi/links
Categories: Bash

First of all you need premium account, if you have it, log in (fileserve.com via firefox or whatever), go to profile and check “Direct Download” option. After that logoff, get cookie with curl and use wget to download files.

I really wonder why I cannot enter fileserve.com. I have a premium account but everytime i go to the site, i just cannot get in. Always “Problem loading”. But I can enter any other site without problem.

I can download using a fileserve manager, though. Thanks goodness! But, when i change ISP, i can no longer log in to the fileserve manager.

    What’s wrong?

Maybe your ISP is blocking it?

Try change your dns settings for google public dns:
      8.8.8.8
      8.8.4.4
